4D IDOL binding specification

Dual Lace Zone/ Lace end Keeper
All men's and women's laces are made with a double zone lace.  The double lacing ensures the possibility to tighten the lower and upper parts of the binding with different strengths.  With its help, the rider can adjust the tightness he prefers at the foot and around the ankle.

PU Tongue Compression Panel
Polyurethane panels on the part covering our feet eliminate pressure points caused by laces.

EZ Glide Lace system
A specially designed lace cover that does not hinder the movement of the lace threads that slide inside.  Our laces run easily both when tightening and loosening.

TPU Injected Toe Cap
Rivet and glue-free lower toe part, attached to the upper part by sewing, thus ensuring durability and flexibility in protecting our toes.

Articulating Upper Cuff
Available on pro model bindings, the stem or cuff part made with an articulated solution provides the wearer with free movement regardless of the lining.

40mm M6 Binding Screws
Strong Metric standard screws ensure an accurate, strong hold

Nylon Injection Reversible Angle Mount
Nylon binding screw washers, with their interchangeable shape and small teeth, enable functional angle adjustment while not carrying heavy metal parts instead.

45° Angel Attachment
The screws that extend under the binding at an angle of 45° offer a more direct grip and therefore better board control.

Removable Trek Walk Liner / Trek Outsole
Reflex lining that is reinforced and suitable for walking around the track.

Semi-Rigid Quarter Panels
The inner central raised part of the foot, which better surrounds the foot part, thereby helping responsiveness.

4D Binding Chasis
The sole cradle with the lightest and smallest sole surface.  Due to its construction, it provides better responsiveness during wakeboarding than ever before.

Rear Assymetric Flexzones
