The quad-core 1.7 GHz TS-832PX features eight 3.5-inch SATA 6 GB / s drive bays that offer extensive storage for a variety of applications and everyday use. With two 10GbE SFP + and two 2.5 GbE LAN ports, the TS-832PX supports next-generation networks for bandwidth-intensive applications and provides seamless file access and sharing. It also supports a variety of PCIe cards, including QM2 cards that enable M.2 SATA / NVMe SSD caching and Qtier ™ auto-tiering storage to enhance NAS performance.

High performance 10 GbE and 2.5 GbE connection

The TS-832PX features two 10 GbE SFP + and two 2.5 GbE LAN RJ45 ports that allow high-speed networking and support port trunking and failover to strengthen network infrastructure. QNAP also offers a number of high-speed networking solutions, including 10 GbE / 2.5 GbE manageable / unmanageable switches and network adapters to help you build a cost-effective, high-speed network environment.

Extend the functionality of your NAS with a PCIe card

With a PCIe Gen 2.0 socket, the TS-832PX provides great flexibility to expand NAS functionality and potential applications. To optimize system performance, install a QNAP QM2 card for M.2 SATA / NVMe SSD caching / 10 GbE connection and use Qtier for optimal system performance. You can also use a QNAP WiFi 6 (802.11AX) network card to create a wireless environment. Additional options include QXG 5 GbE / 2.5 GbE network adapters and USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) expansion cards. All this ensures that the TS-832PX can be easily expanded to meet future requirements.

Protect your important data with snapshots

Snapshots fully capture the state and metadata of the NAS system, which can be used to quickly restore files based on a previously captured state if they have been accidentally deleted / modified or blackmailed. QNAP snapshots are block-based and record only modified data. This not only saves storage space, but also reduces the time required to back up and restore data. The TS-832PX supports up to 256 snapshots per NAS and up to 64 snapshots per volume or LUN.

Multipoint backup, access and synchronization

The TS-832PX supports popular file sharing protocols (including SMB / CIFS, AFP and NFS) for Windows® , Mac® and Linux® / UNIX® devices. With Qsync (a utility that turns a QNAP NAS into a secure, high-capacity data center by synchronizing files), files uploaded to the TS-832PX will be available on all associated devices (including computers, laptops, and mobile devices). Hybrid Backup Sync helps you back up or synchronize your TS-832PX data to another QNAP NAS, remote server, or cloud storage (including Microsoft One Drive® , Google Drive ™ , and Dropbox® ) for disaster recovery.

Intelligent AI photo management

QuMagie integrates QuMagie Core AI image recognition technology for face recognition, subject identification, and photo geotagging. It categorizes similar photos by people, locations, and objects. QuMagie has customizable folder icons, iOS® Live Photo display support, and a powerful search toolbar to provide the best possible photo management and image sharing solution.
