LEVENHUK 500M monocular microscope

The Levenhuk 500M laboratory microscope is the perfect choice for those working in the field of histology and for all other microscopic examinations requiring specimen staining.  With halogen lighting, the microscope gives brighter colors and the examined microscope slide becomes more contrasty.  The microscope is excellent for any microbiological research with a bright field of view and in incident light.

The monocular head tilts at a comfortable 45° angle and can be rotated 360° .  The wide-field eyepiece with 10x magnification provides a good view.  Achromatic objectives provide 4x, 10x and 40x magnification.  The 40x objective is also protected by a spring-loaded front lens.  The magnification of the microscope ranges from 40 to 400 times, excellent for examining large and medium-sized structures.

The microscope stage has standard clamps.  Next to the stage are the coarse and fine focus knobs.  The lighting unit is located at the bottom, immediately below the light filter holder and the bright field condenser with iris compartment.  The lighting consists of a halogen bulb and a light collector, the brightness can be adjusted.  The lighting is powered by an AC power supply.
