We recall here the images of our city from the period of the latest hundred years. Many places in Lublin had changed in that time, The Litewski Square or the Nearthe-Castle District (Podzamcze) looked entirely different at the beginning of the 20th century than they are looking now, and Lublin itself was a city of a cultural diversity.

Selecting the photographs to the Album, we were driven by the belief that we should present not only the beauty of our city but also the important events from its history and people who participated in them. We believe that setting side by side the old, often unique photographs with the contemporary ones will become a pretext for reflection and reverie. The photographs incorporated into the Album will enable not only "travelling in time" but will also create a chance to make a real excursion which should begin at the Royal Castle and end in the remote suburbs.   

Lublin is a beautiful city with a rich history. It is worthwhile getting to know its history in a more detailed way, We invite you for a walk through the old and the contemporary

city.
