Palicnjaci sa Filipina - Sungaya inexpectata "Highland"

On sale are stick insects from the Philippines - Sungaya inexpectata "Highland".   "Highland" species  has a lighter color and reproduces sexually.

They eat the leaves of many trees, for example, oak, linden, maple, as well as raspberries, blackberries, rose hips, ivy, etc. , so there is no problem with their diet.  

Their lifespan is about a year. Adult females lay eggs from which small stick insects will appear in 4-5 months.

Bats can be kept in an aquarium, terrarium or container from the store with good ventilation.  

To create the necessary humidity, it is enough to spray 2-3 times a week. Additional heating is not required.

 Insect sticks are completely safe and easy to keep at home.

 Females can reach a size of up to 10 cm, males are smaller.  

Small (up to 4 cm) – 100 din. Medium - 200 din. Adult - 600 per couple (there is no guarantee how long they will live).
