The SCD715 is a Philips Avent baby monitor that uses DECT (digitally enhanced wireless communication) technology. Thus, the baby monitor is undisturbed, so it does not pick up interference from, for example, other baby monitors and mobile phones. With data encryption, you get a secure and private connection, so only you can hear your child, and you can even talk to your child through the baby monitor. This gives you clean and clear sound and handy features like temperature control, a soothing night light and lullabies. The baby monitor has a range of 330 meters outdoors and up to 50 meters indoors, so it warns you if it is out of reach. You can choose to use a wired or wireless battery, as the latter has up to 24 hours of battery life. It also has an intelligent Eco mode that automatically reduces the required power. The closer they are to each other, the less energy it absorbs.

Check the connection using the LED notifications

The parent unit notifies you when the baby monitor is out of range or when the battery is low, so you can be sure you're always connected to your baby.

Since babies cannot yet regulate their body temperature like adults, even a small difference in temperature can make them restless. The temperature sensor allows you to monitor the room temperature in the baby's room and gives a unique alarm when the temperature changes.
