The Vestax PMC-20s is a vintage Japanese professional DJ mixer that was released in Japan around 1991. Vestax has a phenomenal reputation worldwide for making great mixers, and this PMC-20s is no exception to their legacy. The PMC-20s has 3 input channels: 1x aux (stereo 1/4") or mic (mono 1/4") channel and 2x phono/line channels. It has 2x line outputs (RCA) as well as one high-level output (1/4" cable). It also has an effects send/return. Three salient features of this mixer are (1) the transformer enhancer on the 2 sides of the crossfader (these boost/fatten the signals), (2) the "exciter" filter, and (3) a 5-band graphic EQ which can be toggled by a switch. The PMC-20s also features a program monitor which previews the chosen input signal in the left headphone channel, to facilitate DJing (where you would remove the right headphone channel and listen to the house PA). The build quality is rugged and high quality. Overall this is a well-built professional mixer unit.
