Dramatize your sets and mix different musical styles with ease.  No matter what the BPM or key of the next song is, you can create an exciting transition at any time.  Simply press the Merge FX button and turn it as fast or as slow as you like to build tension in your music.

• Select one of the 4 assigned Merge FX patterns and press the button to increase the tension.
• With a simple turn of the knob, you can increase the impact of the effect - depending on the selected preset pattern, a combination of different effects and patterns will be activated at the same time.
• When you're ready to skip to the next song, simply press the button again.  The effect will be released and if the preset pattern is assigned, it will play.  The track will stop automatically, so just press the play button on the other deck to play the next track.
• In the new Merge FX section of rekordbox (PC/Mac), you can customize the unique effect types and patterns used in each sample to create your own variations.  Choose from 41 types of effects for each element (Build FX, Build Sample, Release FX and Drop Sample) and combine them to create over 9000 different samples.

Turn on the Jog Cutter function and simply move the jog wheel to apply a professional-sounding scratch to the last Hot Cue or playback position you used on that deck.  There are 10 different scratch patterns available and you can switch between them by simply moving the playhead position on the scroll wheel display to point to the scratch angle you want to use.

Angled bending and scratching feels natural thanks to the large stepper wheels, which are the same size as the flagship CDJ-3000 multiplayer wheels.  All are also equipped with an On Jog Display so you can track the position of the playhead.
Sample Scratch is a brand new pad mode in rekordbox that allows you to select the sounds assigned to the sampler and upload them to the decks.  So if you want to remix a song live or just want to add texture to your music, you can scratch your favorite sounds.
