The large-diaphragm construction of the AT2050 provides consistent, excellent performance in both cardioid, spherical, and figure-of-eight settings.  Its two gold-plated and worn-in membranes ensure optimal operation over many years of use.  With its switchable 80 Hz low-cut filter and 10 dB attenuation, it is ideal for recording the sound of vocals, piano, strings, drums, and guitar amplifiers in the studio and in a live music environment.

Double-diaphragm capsule
The two-diaphragm capsule provides precise directional characteristics throughout the microphone's entire frequency range.  The large diaphragm is gold-plated and weathered, so it can work perfectly for many years.

"Connectable low-cut filter and attenuation"
A built-in switchable 80 Hz low-cut filter ensures adjustability between linear and low-cut.  With deep cut, the sensitivity of the microphone decreases when using vocals that are prone to puffing, and it also reduces low-frequency environmental noise (such as traffic, air-conditioning systems, etc. ), room echo and mechanical vibrations.

In addition to a very versatile
multi-characteristic, the AT2050 also has a low-cut filter and an attenuator, increasing the microphone's versatility.
