Info from web : STATION ONE / pol psy exp 2795 - 8995 (1989) This rack expander (3 HE) works with BÖ HM's own HDS tone generator and is 15, 30 or 45 voices depending on the expansion stage. The sample ROM of this expander consists of one MB, filled with 63 drum samples in a resolution of 24 bits. With the HDS-SOUNDMODUL the number of voices is extended, with the DRUM-EXTENSION even a MByte sample RAM can be retrofitted. In addition, retrofitting with the OPERA LIVETONE SYSTEM is possible. Digital effects include Hall, Phaser and Ensemble. Via two MIDI trios, the STATION ONE is capable of 32-bit multitimbral sound. For each of these 32 "tracks", separate program and control change information can be processed! There are 400 preset tones in the ROM of the program memory and 400 are stored in the overwritable RAM. Others can be managed on RAM cards. The controls include the BMC, a ten-key pad, four sliders, a rotary encoder, plenty of buttons and the LCD with 2 x 16 characters. The integrated sequencer can record up to 20,000 notes on 48 tracks. According to my records, it is possible to retrofit up to two MB of RAM for the sequencer, which would then make up a capacity of up to 500,000 notes! The manufacturer even promises a maximum note capacity of 10 million notes via the internal 40 MB hard disk. Maybe it's even possible that the sequencer reloads while playing notes from disk ! ? There are 120 preset and 120 programmable rhythms, as well as a chord recognition for about 1000 chords. Incidentally, the four sliders mentioned at the beginning act as mixers.
