The A55T is the perfect choice for background and foreground systems which require superior performance. Its Martin Audio signature sound characteristic also provides a seamless sonic transition within a multi-zoned complex using larger Martin Audio systems such as CDD or BlacklineX.

Comprising a 5.25” (135mm) LF driver and a 0.75” (19mm) silk-dome HF driver on a 110° x 80° horn, it handles 50W AES, 200W peak and can produce 113dB peak output at 1 metre. It has a smooth frequency response and strong bass reproduction that extends down to 65Hz.

The A55T incorporates a high-quality transformer for 70V/100V line operation, with transformer taps selected by a rotary switch. The recommended amplifier is the VIA5002 in conjunction with a suitable line transformer. For full-bandwidth protection, the low and high-frequency sections are individually protected against overload.

The Martin Audio SX110 subwoofer will extend the bandwidth of ADORN on-wall speakers and is ideal for foreground music applications which require increased impact and low frequency performance.

The loudspeaker shall be a passive, two-way system. Its transducers shall consist of a reflex-loaded 5.25” low frequency driver and a 0.75” dome high frequency driver mounted on a high frequency horn.

Horizontal dispersion shall be 110° and vertical dispersion shall be 80° . The on-axis frequency response shall be 90Hz-17kHz +/- 3dB and the loudspeaker shall produce a maximum SPL of 113dB peak calculated at 1 metre. Power handling shall be 50W AES, 200W peak. The loudspeaker shall be equipped with a transformer for 70V/100V line operation, with taps selected by a rotary switch. The switch shall also provide for 16 ohm low impedance operation of the loudspeaker.

Input connectors shall be push-terminal type. Low and high frequency sections shall be integrated by an internal passive network, with LF and HF auto-resetting fuses to protect the drivers from overload.

The enclosure shall be made from UL94V-0 rated ABS material and fitted with threaded inserts for a wall bracket. The drivers shall be protected by a perforated steel grille.

Dimensions (W x H x D) shall be 152mm x 245mm x 114mm (6in x 9.6in x 4.5in). Weight shall be 2.8kg (6.2lbs).

The loudspeaker shall be the Martin Audio A55T.
