Developed in conjunction with dermatologists, the clinically proven Philips Lumea allows easy and effective treatment in the comfort of your home.

Proven safe and effective treatment

Based on objective studies, the amount of regrowing hair can be reduced by at least 85% after just 3 treatments. ** The first 4 treatments should be done every two weeks, after which you can see the desired result. For a lasting result, only perform one after-treatment every four weeks. After just 8 after treatments, your skin will remain hair-free for at least 3 months.

For both hair and skin types

Philips Lumea Prestige works efficiently, easily and safely for a wide range of hair and skin types. It works on natural dark blonde, brown and black hairs and on skin tones ranging from very white to dark brown. As with other IPL-based treatments, Philips Lumea should not be used to treat white / autumn, light blonde and red hair, and should not be used on very dark skin tones. This is because there should be a high contrast between the hair and the skin pigment.

Built-in skin tone sensor

For safe use, the built-in skin tone sensor assesses the color of the treated skin at the beginning of each treatment - and during treatment. If you detect a skin tone that is too dark to use the device, it will automatically stop emitting pulses.
