RØ DECaster Pro II's unmatched feature set delivers exceptional sound for any creative process.  Four studio-quality Neutrik XLR-jack combo inputs can be connected to a variety of microphones and instruments, including guitar, bass, keyboards and other devices with line or mic level audio output, opening up another door to the creative possibilities for users.  Each input uses RØ DE's proprietary, ultra-low-noise, high-output Revolution™ preamplifier, which provides excellent sound for any microphone or instrument.  These world-class preamps were developed specifically for the RØ DECaster Pro II and will compete with any preamplifier costing up to thousands of dollars per channel.  Their internal noise is incredibly low,  only -131.5dBV, their amplification range amazingly exceeds 76dB.  Their sound is impressively clear and rich in detail.  With Revolution™ preamplifiers, the struggle for the ideal input signal level would be over;  even for the smallest dynamic microphones.
The RØ DECaster Pro II features the full set of studio-quality APHEX® audio processors already well-known from previous RØ DE products. However, these digital processors have undergone a complete overhaul compared to those found in the original RØ DECaster Pro, based on the results of component-level analysis of their analog counterparts. The end result is an impressively dynamic signal processing with which any production can capture the atmosphere of professional studios.  
Even with these complex-sounding capabilities, the RØ DECaster Pro II is incredibly easy to use.  All functions are designed by RØ DE developers to support creativity without unnecessary hassles and wasted time.  The high-resolution touch screen combined with the associated function selector knob (pot) makes navigation and control of the console super easy.  Masterfully configured factory settings (presets) and the highly innovative VoxLab™ processor editor make it easy even for the inexperienced user to record or broadcast their production with exceptional sound.
The RØ DECaster Pro II is fully customizable, making it easy to use for any creative recording situation, whether it's live streaming and gaming, podcasting or music production.  Its nine channels can be controlled with six broadcast quality faders and three virtual faders.  The nine inputs, i. e. channels, can be freely assigned to any fader, so the user can design his own mixer structure according to his own needs and workflows.
The eight "SMART PADS" on the mixer are much more than simple sound pads or effect buttons.  The functions of these buttons are also customizable and can be used to add live effects such as echo, reverb, robotic voice or pitch modulation, to send MIDI commands to external software and hardware, or to trigger automated mixing actions such as fade in and out.  There are 8 memory banks attached to the buttons, each of which can store 8, a total of 64 pre-programmed individual actions, and call them up at the press of a button.  The built-in effects and APHEX processors can also be fully customized, with the detailed editing option, the user can fine-tune all effect and processor parameters according to his own voice or instrument.
All settings, from the mixer configuration to the SMART PAD configuration, and even entire recordings can be saved as a so-called "Show" in the mixer's memory, allowing you to set up and start recording in seconds, in the case of pre-rehearsed productions and setups.  Thus, the 
The four microphone and instrument inputs are sufficient for everything from single-microphone solo podcasts to multi-part or small-band recordings and live broadcasts.  Four headphone outputs and a pair of balanced stereo 6.3mm TRS jack outputs suitable for speakers ensure crystal clear monitoring and playback.
There are two USB-C sockets on the console, for simultaneous and two-way connection of two computers and/or mobile devices.  An additional virtual USB channel is used to mix the audio of chat and conference applications into a real-time broadcast, thus creating the possibility to implement podcasts with remote actors and complex streaming tasks.  The USB connections are MFi (Made For iPhone) certified, ensuring seamless integration with iOS devices.
Thanks to the advanced, broadband Bluetooth connection option, you can conduct and record phone calls and interviews in perfect quality with the mixer.  The Bluetooth connection also allows you to stream pre-broadcasts from mobile devices or to connect wireless speakers to the console.  Recording can be done on the microSD™ memory card that can be inserted into the mixer, on a computer or on an external data storage device, with ultra-fast data transfer via USB.
The RØ DECaster Pro II is also equipped with WiFi and Ethernet connectivity options.
